Marks: MADE IN FRANCE always stamped on hooves
Very few MLPs were made in France, all from the 1983 line. French ponies include: second set ponies (Applejack, Bow-Tie, Blossom, Cotton Candy, Bubbles, Seashell), first unicorns and pegasi (Firefly, Medley, Glory, Moondancer, Sunbeam, Twilight), first rainbow ponies (Starshine, Skydancer, Sunlight, Parasol, Windy, Moonstone) and a few rare exclusives and variants, such as purple Windy (purple with purple hair and a yellow streak in mane), a blue-haired Cotton Candy in the "shy pose", with freckles, and the same pony having Bow-Tie's symbol instead.
Notes: French ponies are extremely well manufactured. They are also generally darker in shade than their counterparts made in HK. Bow-Tie's and Cotton Candy's hair is usually white due to fading. Often Blossom is of a greenish shade of blue.
